(17,308 posts)bill. But things are changing so quickly that I don't know if that is still the fact or not.
I'm curious too, especially about the debt ceiling.

(2,162 posts)I believe the disaster relief is there. I dont think the debt ceiling was mentioned. I did skip over a lot of Rs talking though

(10,353 posts)Otherwise it must go through and be approved in committee (appropriations) to go to the floor under the normal majority vote rules.

Some GOP are voting N
Dems are Y. A few were Not Voting, but then they jumped in a voted.
Looks like they're done voting. It was probably a few more than 365.

(9,708 posts)...it's a bit late to send it to the Appropriations Committee. Typical GOP, waiting till the last minute to try to pass something that should have been being worked on. One CR after another.
The circus has come to town, again.

(2,344 posts)I know there was no debt ceiling in it and disaster relief was included.
Is it the original bipartisan agreed bill? If not, how close is it? It must not be outrageously different since most Dems voted for it.

(2,344 posts)From what I can find, there were only 34 votes against and they were all Republicans, so all Democrats that voted, voted yes.

(2,344 posts)It appears there were 8 things stripped out of the original bipartisan agreement, and that was one of them.
muriel_volestrangler
(102,683 posts)That seems to be what reports say.
Wiz Imp
(2,344 posts)Dems would never vote for that now and Johnson knew it so he had no choice but to strip it out..
