Trump, Musk, and House Republicans traumatized the American people

for weeks over bullshit. All the drama caused real stress and anxiety, especially to federal employees. And for what? It seems like it is a game to these assholes.

I am so sick of politics right now. The greed and the power mongering makes me ill.

There was once a time when I actually believed in the promise of America. I no longer do. Now, I’m just sad seeing what has become of this country.

Somebody else’s stress and anxiety, they don’t care.
They’ve been taught federal employees are useless, lazy, deep state and a waste of tax dollars
Base is brainwashed by billionaires that just don’t want to pay taxes
Into hating their fellow americans.
Their mailmen, park rangers, diplomats, natsec guys, EPA, OSHA, DOJ…

Barely a peep here, that I noticed, and DU's on a kind of Trump/(R) trigger and I'm logged in for a couple of hours most evenings.

Latest word I've seen elsewhere is the House passed bill shorter by more than an order of magnitude that covers the basics by a wide margin (thanks (D)!). That was hours ago, don't know if the Senate's done likewise or if Biden's even back in DC after the memorial service to sign it if passed by both chambers.
