But defunding cancer research will kill children. The Senate passed a bill to restore the pediatric research that the House killed. But it is my understanding that it's only a fraction of the amount. They did what they could.
You would think cancer only affected Democratic children.

(3,150 posts)I am deeply sorry to hear about the loss of your son. I, too, lost my son to fentanyl, and I understand the immense pain and heartache that comes with such a loss.
In response, I came out of retirement to join the fight against fentanyl and to work toward having it declared a substance of mass destruction. However, the progress has not been as swift or effective as I had hoped. Still, I remain committed to this fight, fueled by the memory of our sons and the desire to spare others from this tragedy.
Please know youre not alone, and if you ever need someone who understands, I am here.
