Fuck celebrating. We’ll look at the clock, see that it’s midnight, give each other a hug and a kiss, respond to incoming texts and finish with Bartok’s piano concerto #3. I won’t look at ball drops or fireworks. No cable news, no local crap, no networks. The worst year of my political life is over and, well, you know what’s in store for us.
