Not sure what will happen to prices with tariffs though. I just ordered more inhalers for my cat that way in case the prices go up. They are good for 2 years and his dose was reduced so I will have enough for almost 2 years.

But how else do we get it through their thick fucking skulls that this is what they voted for? They voted for this kakistocracy. We can't count on the media to tell the truth. They have believed all the RW bullshit for too long. They need to understand they have been duped. It has to be visceral.

Petty? Yes. Vindictive? Yes. Will it hurt me? Sure. I Don't care anymore. My wife and I are in our 60's and will likely have to work for another decade in shitty jobs. No early retirement for us thanks in part to idiots who vote for corporate stooges. I've lived in red areas most of my life. I'm tired of hearing how bad liberals are while they reap the rewards of our work.

Edited to add. I suspect my attitude is also due to a feeling that it's going to get worse before it can get better. Rising insulin costs may be the tip of the iceberg. I'm scared for my daughters' future. I'm scared for my LGBTQ friends' future. Etc. I don't see a way out of this without a lot of pain.

and you. I don't mean to sound cavalier.

FWIW, we too could be homeless if this continues. $411 a month for my wife's meds isn't easy. Have borrowed every available cent from my life ins policy. Life sucks.

If it is any consolation, I suspect their attempts to repeal this will be as successful as repealing Obamacare.

TSF plans to hit Denmark with huge tariffs if they oppose his taking Greenland. Yep...prices for insulin will skyrocket.

According to the Observatory of Economic Complexity, a trade data platform, roughly half of Denmark's recent exports to the United States are packaged medicines, insulin, vaccines and antibiotics. That's largely because the country is home to Novo Nordisk, the maker of Ozempic and Wegovy, the popular weight-loss drugs.12 hours ago

the copay because it changed from being the formulary again. Even though they wrote me a letter when it first happened after I tried that approved novolog for life... it is the only one I can time properly without having a lot of lows etc. I can't just be switched willy nilly. So I get it approved each year at the regular copay. In a pump it is both my basal and short acting. Long acting was so dangerous for me.

But who knows what will happen when the psychos take over. When I first started on insulin I was on mdi after dka and novonordisk gave me discounts which covered some of the copays. I was also on long acting lantus and then levemir. A lot of companies have patient copay help but I think you have to have insurance for that. If it goes too high before we leave I may have to try another one until then.

Now I have tresiba, which I have never used, as a back up for total pump failures but I am scared to use long actings.

They seem to want to let a lot of us die. This is the pro/forced birth party that doesn't give a RA about them after they are born.

They take away school programs such as free lunches, now want costs for our everyday health care to become un-affordable. I don't get it, why do they hate Americans so much? I just don't get it.

I am sorry, meowmee. I hope we as a minority party can put a stop to this.

I'm so angry — House Republicans have introduced legislation to repeal the $35/month cap on insulin that Democrats passed for seniors on Medicare.

I need you to retweet and spread the word about this. Every voter needs to know.
