Practical ways to help the undocumented immigrant community?

Please don’t let this sink. Can we have an open discussion of practical ways that we can help the undocumented immigrant community right now I’m watching Rachel, and it breaks my heart to see how terrified this community is right now. What are some practical steps we can take. What are the organizations to get involved in? what are good organizations to give money to?

A lot will come up under searches by your area and immigrant services, support, words like that.

If you are active in a faith group, check for local groups or national committees which can help with local connections.

If you have a second language (especially Spanish, but others too), dust it off. Or get an app and start with some basics. In these times, a friendly word can go a ways to letting someone know that they are not being forgotten.

Actually, that was one of my resolutions right after the election, to strengthen my Spanish language skills. I’ve been doing online language tutoring
