Senator Demands Apology From Trump For 'Grotesque' Comments About Plane Crash

I should have posted this in GD instead of LBN because the link goes to a thread of live updates on HuffPost

Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) immediately called for Trump to apologize for comments he made during a press conference about the plane crash, calling them "grotesque."

"We've just experienced a great tragedy, and the President of the United States has already rushed to politicize it — jumping to outrageous conclusions and undermining ongoing investigations.

His comments were grotesque and outrageous and he owes the American people an apology."

because mainstream media is ignoring them.

HuffPost is doing a fantastic job of covering the insanity.

But it's important to demand it loud and often. Other congress members must demand it as well.
This is not the time to ignore horrendously bad behavior. Time to ensure that all see the nakedness of the Emperor.

Rather, we should be calling any Dem rep we have and asking them to join the chorus. It should be clear that half the country finds this behavious absolutely beyond the pale, and that means every single Dem Senator and rep should be on television expressing their outrage.

100% agree.

I fear, however, that the mainstream media won't cover their comments.

Use your question time in whatever hearing, etc.

Game the media's own system.

And where the hell are the rest of the Democratic officials, who should be joining Chris Van Hollen against this unspeakable outrage? Are they already that beaten down and fearful, that such an opportunity to gain political traction from such a tragedy will be wasted?

Just how much of this shit are we supposed to eat?

Or prove to us that said values are a pack of bogus G.O.P. crap,
