PSA - Watch for those on DU pointing to Biden admin for airliner crash

Benedict Donald's recent presser was so disgusting that MAGA Media isn't looping it

Now they want to amplify that this was Bidens fault etc

Don't let them

Enron Musk fired head of FAA

https://www.yahoo.com/news/faa-administrator-quit-jan-20-045322293.html?guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ29vZ2xlLmNvbS8&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAAM-CsdEnFVCkRdDo1nrkJdUjfkcwBXF_91DTOrjNS-DOpok-WQyeD1-nxIvrDaykkWqNNQrUnAw2nOoImMO_tB2ZOhNsDDVH7N1FkuX0DyWLWQceOl3HlXZQzS7ImDFqnh7N15O9gAbuTZ2l90gTGnOExcoXTKjcF7JEiUrRPHsg

... and going by MAGA logic any new admin is at fault for everything that goes on during their admin in isolation

To hell with them, everything wrong is Trumps fault

EDIT: MAGA isn't taking this well, hit them with the Enron Musk link ... they start mind spin afterwards.

If so, you can argue that this passive aggressive warning on a DU OP about others taking the Trump line over this plane disaster falls under the same umbrella, and so does your posting a thread and "guiding" a DU reader to look up who you're referring to, for that matter.
I mean, seriously? If any post in General Discussion is doing what the OP says, just Alert the individual posts; why make it some major OP issue?
So in general, I'll look up the official EarlG rule on the purpose of the Share button at the bottom of posts, and/or what a "call out" is; but still gotta ask you, too: What's the point of the Share button on the bottom of each thread's postings, if it's not relevant to some another thread, or the OP of that thread?

37. It's in the Terms of Service, under Civilty:

https://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=termsofservice

No personal attacks or flaming
Do not personally attack, insult, flame, threaten, bully, harass, stalk, negatively call-out, ascribe ugly ulterior motives to, or make baseless claims about any member of this community. Do not post in a manner that is hostile, abusive, or aggressive toward any member of this community.

Why we have this rule: Civility begets quality discussions. Democratic Underground members are highly passionate about politics which means discussions can get heated -- but they don't need to get nasty. There's no reason why a community of intelligent adults who agree on a majority of political issues can't have a conversation without insulting each other or resorting to other anti-social behaviors.

So you should remove this.

Might as well adopt a wartime frame of mind and action---because that's exactly where things stand, now...

and there are ways to deal that should the post arise. I can't imagine there are more than one or two people on the entire site who would blame Biden for the crash. Perhaps the OP saw a single post and overreacted.

The enemy is Trump, not other DUers. Treating our community as the enemy is self-destructive.

Not that blame him; I wouldn’t want to work in such close proximity to either Elon or the felon. But it was his choice to not wait until an official notice came from someone who actually worked in government, not from a volunteer who bought the keys to the kingdom.

There is no conspiracy here attempting to “blame” Biden. But the air collision over Reagan Airport defies imagination and logic. Last month The FAA approved even MORE flights into Reagan National, although Congress was warned about a collision risk increase at an already overburdened airport. Tim Kaine said NO!
But he was ignored. The bill received bipartisan support and Biden signed off.
DJT knew all of this going in. He also ignored all warnings and then moved to destabilize the situation even further. Urging Musk of all unelected people, to push out Michael Whitaker who’d only been in the position for a year. We really must begin to pay deeper attention as citizens & activists so we can understand how we got ourselves into this National mess and hour of crisis. We can strategize based on paying close attention to the "agent provocateurs.”

it’s too early to blame anyone, and maybe a combination of actions across administrations contributed to this. I am a leftist, which means I deal in facts, I don’t confuse correlation with causation, and don’t seek to politicize what looks like a genuine accident due to too much air traffic.
