Who are the people behind Tulsi wearing fake plastic leis? That would look completely ridiculous even in Honolulu.

They look absurd. It is in no way Hawaiian and somehow is still an insulting cultural mockery/appropriation.

We make, give and wear lei and put a lot of love and thought into them.

These plastic lei are sold at ABC store and Walmart etc.

That doesnt look corny and wierd to you?
