Republican Senators fear for their lives..

...and the lives of their families.

I saw a Democratic Senator say on TV yesterday that some Republican Senators have privately said that they fear for their lives if they cross Donald Trump. They are fearful of what he might ask his MAGA supporters to do.

This is serious business. When our elected Senators and Representatives are too fearful to do what is right because they fear the retribution that might follow, including losing their lives.

(I do not recall the Senator's name)

People who are desperate, angry, backed into a corner and feeling powerless are... well, they're a bit unpredictable, aren't they.

The 2nd Amendment and the solutions it offers (encourages?) against tyrants and those who enable/support tyrants would make a lot of folks nervous and fearful, I imagine.

If only there was SOMETHING those fearful politicians might be able to do to improve things. Hmmm. It's right on the tip of my tongue... I just can't think of it right now. It'll come to me later.

The furloughs and firings of career civil servants and federal grantees with NO outside job prospects will push folk into desperation. Trump has a cordon of guards, but underlings and Congress-critters are 'soft targets'. I expect a few more 'Mangiones'. Cancer patients losing their medical coverage certainly have nothing to live for. So, why not?

98. They can grow a pair. None of America's war dead wanted to die. But they went over the top anyway.

They met the enemy. Some died. Some were maimed. They did what was necessary to protect and defend our constitution, our country and the world.

Our newest enemy is on the field. Now its time for the Republican Senators need to get up off their whiny asses and do their job. If they have any questions, go ask the Ukrainians what duty, honor, country means.

I don't believe a mf thing they have to say at this point. Remember, they could have easily held trump accountable prior to his holy resurrection.

They have the power to do it and must. Send their families somewhere else. As far as I recall mostly only d leaders have had actual threats / attacks and attempted attacks carried out. Pelosi's husband, Gov Whitmer etc.

If they had impeached and convicted him when they had the chance we wouldn’t be here. Our lives are just as at risk if not more at risk.

to abandon those who have stood up to him or even just did their jobs. They simply don't give a shit about anyone but themselves. How many Democratic Senators or Congressmen has he killed so far? They are not even under threat.
If they're too cowardly to do their jobs, then resign.

Please don't deploy me because I fear for my life, by the way I keep getting paid and my benefits right. Or their security detail, those that still have one, please don't go out because I'm afraid.
