As I'm far too young to collect and am currently paying into it, so it's technically a subtraction from my net income right now.

They should have raised the cap decades ago. It’s absurd that anyone making under $169K contributes based on 100% of income, but anyone making more pays nothing on income over that amount.

It will be going up if and when reimbursement for Windfall Elimination Provision takes effect.. I receive twp pensions plus about half of the S.S> I will be receiving in the future, hopefully.
