I can’t see the older women who staff this place asking me to prove my citizenship.

. . .and while we normally confirm name, residence, and voting district (with a board-of-elections officlal around as back-up if need be), we've NEVER asked for proof of citizenship. That is a given.

2. You didn’t change your name when you married.

Wouldn’t that be more likely to affect conservatives and evangelicals than liberal, more independent minded women?

They don’t care if the women who aren’t allowed to vote are conservative or liberal.
