It rarely does for tyrants like him. His own life would have been so much better if he'd stayed out of politics in the first place. Meanwhile, he is destroying so many innocent lives in his ridiculous quest for power and prestige.

All premiers have come out against the tariffs, I think now all provinces have taken US liquor off the shelves, not sure about the territories. By the way many provinces are only taking off liquor from red states. All premiers have agreed with the counter tariffs, there is still some talk about energy with Alberta (largest oil producer) still hesitating but she has changed her tune somewhat, she is in favour of shipping more oil to other countries and to build pipelines in Canada rather than more to the US. Right now US gets our oil at a discount because we could never get all provinces to agree to pipelines through their provinces (looking at Quebec mostly) to ship to other parts of the world. Our government under Trudeau did get new pipelines through BC to the coast, along with a new LNG plant and we can now ship to Asia, and quite possibly to China instead of them buying from Russia. Quebec has now changed their tune and are talking pipelines to the east ports for shipping to Europe. That will take years to build but once completed we will no longer be selling our oil to the US at a discount.

I hope TSF is in one of those but if not let me know so I can answer your particular question (it means different things here).

I know it’s considered one of Canada’s more conservative cities. But me and my ultra-liberal brother and sister had a wonderful time. Beautiful (and very, very windy!) city. Nice people. Lots of cool things to do.

I’m so sorry, my beloved Canadians. Please hold on to hope that this won’t last forever, and we can go back to being great friends and allies again.

And for those not aware, Canadians are petty as fuck, and can hold a grudge like you wouldn't believe.

When Coke closed down their bottling plant in Newfoundland in 1991, Newfoundlanders switched to Pepsi. To this day, 34 years, Newfoundlanders are almost exclusively Pepsi drinkers.

Canadians, en masse, have turned away from American brands and products. This market will be a very difficult one for any US company to sell into for generations.
