The federal government is currently attempting to undermine access to passports for trans people, and it's crucial that we act now! The U.S. Department of State has opened public comment periods on three crucial passport applications, and we must flood all three with our opposition to these harmful changes before it's too late.
Our strategy? Our community and supporters should submit as many comments as possible to all three portals. This will show massive public resistance, potentially leading to media attention and increased public awareness, making it harder for them to push these changes through. Each step is critical, and once you complete one, well direct you to the next.
Remember, the more comments we submit, the more difficult it will be for the government to deny us our rights. Your voice matters, and together, we can make a significant impact!

It is straightforward and easy. You can send the canned message if you want. You can create a message entirely of your own (although I would recommend leaving the first sentence). Or you can customize it in the paragraph which suggests sharing your experience.

My high school sweetheart (a trans woman) posted it on FB, so I thought I'd share. It helps to at least have something small and concrete to do.
