I just gotta say these fuckers are making it look easy to destroy the strongest country in the world.

Hell just get both houses and the white house. Plus some religious supreme court judges assistance. executive orders like there is no tomorrow. And here we sit!

Very, very slowly — then all at once.

That’s the US in the moment, afaict. Democracy got lazy and flabby, while the corrupt and greedy got very busy.

I just started re-reading "The Rich and the Super-rich" by Ferdinand Lundberg. I find it very relaxing to understand the road that's brought us here. Not surprising at all. If anyone is interested in reading a great book, it is available for a free download from the Soil & Health Library due to it's copyright expiration.

he's such a great writer, and it has so much really boring financial charts, and percentages of wealth, that make my eyes cross, but the writing that follows the re-focusing of the eyes is almost whimsical.
