(4,230 posts)holding -- right now --- town halls, etc., to explain how their proposal of a 90% tax on the Oligarchs will benefit their lives by giving them Medicare for all, universal basic income, etc.,
It is so simple that it makes me think the Ds are not doing this because they'd rather go along to get along.

(42,470 posts)towns are a long way from each other, especially towns that have any measure of population. It's not like NJ, where all the towns run into each other in one vast suburban area of around 4 million, just in the northern section alone.
The area of which they are speaking, Columbus, has always been very conservative. I unfortunately get updates on some people there and am usually disgusted with them. However, I can see where they would turn on trump and the rest of the republicans, so this doesn't altogether surprise me. It takes a lot, but apparently that threshold has been reached.
