Musk's X Banned Rick Wilson For Sharing 'Kill Tesla, Save The Country' Post? What We Know

Story by Times Now Digital

Amid the ongoing protests against Elon Musk's Tesla, a slogan that says 'Kill Tesla, Save The Country,' has gone viral on social media. However, political consultant Rick Wilson claimed that he has been banned from X, the platform owned by Musk, for sharing a post with the aforementioned slogan. Wilson said that his account has been banned by X for 30 days as the 'Kill Tesla, Save The Country' post violated the platform's terms and conditions.

Several users shared photos of Wilson being banned by X for sharing the photo, which also included a sub stack link. Wilson told TMZ that the reaction by the pro-Donald Trump and pro-Elon Musk users to the post is a case of "moral panic," adding that they did not check the sub stack link which provided added context.

"Kill Tesla, Save the Country" has emerged as a rallying cry among critics of Elon Musk, particularly in response to his political activities and Tesla's perceived influence in the Trump administration. This sentiment has fueled the "Tesla Takedown" movement, with activists organizing protests at Tesla showrooms. Notably, Attorney General Pam Bondi on Thursday announced charges against three protestors for allegedly committing arson at Tesla showrooms.

There's a reason the Internet Newspeak uses slang like "Unalive them" or "Minecraft them" or "Do IT". Using certain words gets you autobanned.

Here’s the political physics of it all: Pressure on Tesla is pressure on Musk. Break Tesla’s stock, and you start to break Elon’s ability to bankroll authoritarian fantasies…and if that kneecaps Trump in the process, well, boo-hoo.

Corporate pressure campaigns generally work when a company still cares about rational brand management, market cap, and sales. Tesla is about to learn to care.

And guess what? The cultural moment for Tesla has arrived. Why?

1)Tesla’s Stock Is Perched on a Cliff
2)Elon & DOGE Are Poisoning the Brand
3)Nazi-Adjacency Is Famously Bad For Market Share
4)Even the Rats Know the Ship Is Sinking
5)A Product Line Ranging from Dull to Cringe
6)Tesla: Welfare Queen Extraordinaire
