And, I have had many experiences with those who can maintain their positivity throughout difficult medical issues. So, I'm counting on you to do the same. Not sure where you are getting care. Kansas City has some excellent oncology programs, but no matter where, just hang in there and let them find out what is going on. Lots of new immune therapies have emerged--even since your last episode.

I believe I can speak to all of your DU family in saying we are here for you and just want you to take good care of yourself.

I am having my own health problems but they do not put me all the way down. I live South of Topeka. I do not know if you are close or not but if you are there would be some times I could help and would be pleased to do that. Like I said, I am pretty restricted now but not totally. Send me a PM if there is anything I could do and I will see what I can work out. I am SO sorry to read this. Keep your chin up and beat this shit with your brain and heart. Damn stuff took out a good part of my family and quite a few friends but kick it around and sometimes it gives up. If you need anything and I can help let me know. Be well. Yes I know. I am not some suppliment nut, but I saw an article about Chamomile causing cancer cells to restart apoptosis (self die off). That caused me to check for real NIH studies since I don't trust one source and found several studies that looked promising in the NIH databse on Chamomile and apigenin derived from Chamomile.

I list this as a "can't hurt, might help" thing I mention to folks. Doesn't hurt to look up the articles either.

As someone (currently) NED (no evidence of disease) from two cancers, it's no fun.

As to the scrapings - imaging can't tell if a lump is cancerous - or what kind (new or metastasized from somewhere else). To develop a complete and targeted treatment plan, they need a pathologist to look at the actual cells.

Take care of yourself, KS Toronado, and please keep us updated if you feel able. Your posts will be missed, but your health is more important.

It sounds very scary, and having cancer is scary and sucks. Prayers and healing vibes.

I never knew there could be your kind of cancer. My brother was recently diagnosed with bladder cancer. We're trying to help alleviate his stress factors. And these days there many more than we can handle. I hope you manage to continue to do what makes you happy. And that you get a handle on the best treatment.

I believe that healings that seem miraculous can always happen, and I hope that will happen for you.

I also believe, based not on religion but on my own experiences and those I've heard about, including from people I've known who were grieving, that our spirits live on, and we all have reunions with loved ones to look forward to on the other side. But I'm praying for as much time here in as good health as possible for you, for the best help possible, and for strength and comfort and reassurance.

Whatever material things you may lose, your life is worth so much more. I know if I’m diagnosed with cancer, the little backwoods I live in will just find skid marks in the driveway where I peeled out of here to go find a real cancer center.

Diffuse large B-Cell lymphoma - started as a tumor on her neck. The treatment is rough, so I'll just offer positive thoughts for you and hope that they figure out how to treat it. As they keep telling my wife, the highest priority is to take care of yourself.

Been doing the cancer path myself since late 2017.

Sometimes doctors are confused and do not communicate well between each other is my experience.

keep that engine runnin' for as long as you can!
