I cannot recall an instance when he tangled with someone with more money and power. He's a blowhard who cannot always back up his threats. But now that he can use the U.S. Treasury as his personal piggy bank, that changes the dynamic.

With enormous resources, levers of power, and unlimited ways to destroy people.

He is having the time of his life. Every single target on the planet is less powerful than he is.

... will be something to watch. And may he take every Republican that Satan ever defecated down with him, starting with Chief Justice Roberts and the entire SCOTUS majority.

And yes all of his enablers, toadies, henchmen, minders could fall with him.

I recommend Vonnegut's "God Bless You Mr. Rosewater" for anyone who hasn't read it.

Vonnegut's best work is "JAILBIRD" which covers ALL the bases perfectly........and I am gonna get my copy off the shelf and read it once again.......

In the scene I remember, Bacall asks Edward G what he wants. Bogie pipes up and says "I'll tell you what he wants -- he wants MORE."
