Keeping people's spirits up. Keeping them on board.

All my life I've heard people talking about being inspired by JFK and RFK (Sr.), about how they were motivated for a cause, but these days, when young people flat out say that no one is inspiring them, all they get is scolding.

How tough is it to actually go out there and fire people up? Apparently very, especially when the things you'd need to say to do so would put you at odds with other interests (particularly wealthier ones).

So morale-building is always given the short-shrift and the people who try to do so are treated as pests. And we end up with lower turnout and people spalling off to the Green goobers.

I just want to take the time at this forum for passionate Democrats called Democratic Underground to thank the Democratic Party for all they have done for me throughout my life, the Democrats understand me perfectly.

and the GOP now is good?

I will always support the Democratic Party and elected Democrats. United we stand, divided we fall!
