Bernie's and AOC's hearts are in the right place, usually a bad sign if you want to make actual progress. We need to focus on fair-minded, manners-obeying, "reasonable work ethic" people living in prosperity, good health, and peace. A fair share will organically follow from that focus. Leading with "fair share" arguments and billionaire bashing feels good, but it's ineffective. That approach only strengthens opposition. It appeals in equal parts to resentment and "sweetie-pie-ness," the former threatening, the latter nauseating.

We Dems still need to get our legs back under us. Trump and Musk are totally going to eat our lunch for a while. The "inequality" argument has been co-opted by them. We'll see if it's a grift. I don't like what I'm seeing so far. Bernie, AOC, Warren, etc., would need to reimagine themselves to get clout back. The one great thing they are doing is focusing on meat and potatoes.
This weekend there is an airshow, a huge street fair, a monster truck show, and about a zillion other things going on in that town. Next time de-conflict so more people will attend.
