censorship and persecution for speech is a slippery slope; and even if you like it when it's applied to the other guy's opinions, you're not going to like it when it comes after you.

If we cease even to aspire to be a nation ruled by laws (including due process) impartially applied, rather than by tribes or particular, charismatic leaders, we will descend into autocracy.
