They'll wreck SS, you'll still pay the 6.5% payroll tax, but those funds will now go to Elon Musk

That is the simple message we have to get across. Rs want to redirect the SS payroll taxes we all pay into the pockets of the billionaires. Those taxes will no longer fund programs for the general public. Has any R proposed ending the payroll deduction for SS? Don't think so.

Am I wrong?

If the Republicans cut SS benefits by 20-30% as a one time remedy to ‘save SS,’ and then ratchet up inflation using tariffs, the value of SS payouts decreases substantially.

SS beneficiaries, at least half trumpsters. And, that doesn’t count Bubba and Karen who won’t be happy paying for mom/grandma’s basic living expenses.

As a recipient of SS, I am very fed up with threads that fearmonger.

We ALL know what motivates the "libertarian" right in wanting to get rid of SS. The billionaires and right-wing corporations don't want to pay FICA. Notice they don't even talk about "solvency" anymore. It was all bullshit.

Anyway, I am tired of these threads saying we aren't going to have Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. It is not healthy to post these creative speculation threads, and it sure as hell not healthy to read them.
