right-wing efforts to gut funding for rural obstetric and healthy clinics as well as those serving poor and disadvantaged mothers and daughters in urban areas. Their “legacy” will not only be unwanted pregnancies but mothers and children dying from diseases and conditions that wouldn’t be health-threatening had the clinics they shuttered and the doctors and nurses they drove away had still been there.

It’s not just the shuttered clinics in cities and suburbs, but also the ever-growing “maternity deserts” in rural areas of red-state America.

in Tennessee said last week that he's glad OB/GYNs are leaving the state. Yet some states will charge women with neglect for not getting regular prenatal care. This is not about right or wrong, pro life or pro choice. Republicans view women with contempt. They seek to punish us and put us in our place.

a similar mindset in Idaho. He said that funding maternal and infant for struggling families was not the responsibility of the state.

Idaho is one of those places with growing “maternity deserts.” If the wingnuts succeed after driving out out their physicians and if parents name their children after places where they were born, I suspect that there will be a lot of Idaho children named.”Oregon,” “Washington,” or perhaps even “Nevada.”

This neo-Confederate mindset needs to die and be buried with a wooden stake through its heart.

Some MAGA state legislatures want to ban mRNA vaccines:

Using mRNA vaccines to treat pancreatic cancer is showing promise:

It could be used for other types of cancers in the future.

Not to mention that their leader is responsible for 40% of the COVID deaths in his first term.

Also, he wanted to repeal ACA, 3 years before COVID.
This would have caused millions to lose insurance.
Some showing up at hospitals with no insurance.
