It was a great march through downtown Dallas, about 2000 marchers. It ended at city hall with a lot of speakers including Al Green, US rep from Houston that that kicked out of Trump's state of the union. Several judges marching with us! All the big churches downtown handing out water!! Felt good to be part of such diverse peaceful group!

By Emma Lazarus

Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles.
From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
“Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!” cries she
With silent lips. “Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”

Texas has always been MAGA. There are no demoncraps here!

We Legacy Texas Democrats realize that:

"The problem with Texas for Democrats is not that it's a red state, it's that it's a non-voting state," Julian Castro, the former Housing and Urban Development Secretary and ex-mayor of San Antonio, told NBC News."

Texas had a Democratic House until January 2003, so it wasn't always magats.
LBJ, who pushed through Civil Rights, Voting Rights, and the Great Society, was from Texas.
Speakers Sam Rayburn and Jim Wright were from North Texas.

The crowd would have been twice or more as large, had the rest not been at work!
Let us remember that we are all immigrants to this land, except the Native Americans.
And that Texas used to BE Mexico!
