and the many French clothing and wine companies, soap and consumer products, and more.

There is a ton of foreign investment in the US. We'll see less of that soon.

To answer your question, in 2023 France had $370B direct investment in the US. They are the 5th largest foreign investor. The top 5 include Japan, Canada, Germany, UK, and France.

The EU as a whole accounted for $3.46T.

This is for foreign direct investment. It does not include debt held.
