(25,349 posts)This is a disaster and it is day one. There is no telling how long the panic selling lasts.
There is no upside on the horizon. Doge is a disaster, the tax cut is at best an extension at worse more revenue pulled out of the economy, and Qrt 2 guidances should be chilly to down right fridged for most companies.
Then there is inflation and the boycotts to come. For get countries raising tariffs, outright boycotts of American products are on their way as the world gives us the middle finger.

(60,320 posts)It is difficult to time the market, impossible to do it perfectly. A decent approach is to ease out of expensive markets and ease into cheap markets. But we are far from the latter at the moment.

(3,182 posts)Heard about Canadians boycotting american products and vacations about two weeks ago; today, NPR had a story about the Danish people doing the same due to idjits stupidity about Greenland. Oh, and didn't have time to read it, but on my firefox main page was a story of Macron and France putting a halt to current and future investment in the u.s.
