Grandpa Coors and all his buddies, dressed in White Robes and Hoods, would assemble on the last Sunday? of every month on the top of Table Top Mountain, right beside the Adolph Coors beer plant....They would erect a giant 20' tall, wooden cross on the mountain, late in the afternoon, and light it on fire at dusk.......You could see it from all over Denver........."Just a warning"..........
Coors had a policy of restricting employees to white only until the mid? 70's. Including not only Blacks, but Mexicans too....

Most Coloradans in the 70's couldn't understand why the rest of the nation loved coors beer............to us, it just tasted like piss.
Until a year or two ago, they still falsely advertised on every can "Brewed With Pure Rocky Mountain Spring Water" which was the best joke of all !!!!!!!!!!!!! They didn't have a spring. Their source of water was Clear Creek, one of the most polluted streams in Colorado. All the run off from the snow/rain in the mountains trickled down through the old mine tailings every where around Idaho Springs. Better than that, there were a noteable number of small towns who discharged their waste water into the Creek above Coor's take out point for their beer.....

I remember when guys I worked with came back from vacation out west and brought back a case or two of it..a big deal. When I finally got out there I thought Olympia beer was a lot better but it wasn’t sold in the south, either. Smart marketing strategy on Coors’ part to pent up demand for their beer

Coors wouldn't sell anywhere but in Colorado......A few years later, they decided to open their first distributorship and a close friend of mine bought it, and opened it in Bozeman Montana.

President Ford would spend a lot of time in Vail, and would take home a bunch of cases of Coors on his way back to DC.

Coors, both him and the beer, should have stayed in Colorado.

Entire companies are going to bite the dust if he doesn't resend these tariffs. I doubt and that all of the rich people are making money on these deals. I'm sure there's plenty of people that are going to lose their shirts and they're coming for him ...😆😆😆

Who knew the monster they help create would get loose and start trashing the place?! Turns out, the monster has his own agenda and it's a little different from theirs. Donny's making them kiss his ring. Wasn't supposed to work that way and they're pissed about it. Otherwise, they'd just have a chat and get an "exemption." No need for a lawsuit unless Donny isn't playing like he was supposed play.

From the article:

Under art. 1, § 8 of the Constitution, Congress has sole authority to control tariffs, which it has done by passing detailed tariff statutes. The President cannot bypass those statutes by invoking “emergency” authority in another statute that does not mention tariffs.

This is 100% accurate and lower courts should rule as such. However, I will not even try to predict how the Supreme Court would rule on this issue.
