Water and water right in California, with multiple agencies, is very complicated, but despite the marmalade shartcannon pulling this bombastic stunt, it works remarkably smoothly.

Democrats let so many stories fall by the wayside instead of making hay of some of the crap trump's pulling.

Has signalgate disappeared? Stock market took over the whole 24 hour cable news cycle today.

until a week or so after it. I dont recall seeing it discussed on the news. Trump sent out a DOGE team to gather information about releasing the water. Another DOGE-Musk fuckup.

Shortly after the fires broke out, Mr. Trump, then the president-elect, claimed Newsom "refused to sign the water restoration declaration" that he said would have directed millions of gallons of water to areas now burning, alleging he prioritized a small fish, called a smelt, over residents.

In response, Newsom's office said, "There is no such document as the water restoration declaration — that is pure fiction."

Only a few politicians are brave enough to stand up to the MAGA cult, while the rest bend the knee like cowards.

Newsom allowed this to happen because he was scared to say no.

I live here, the Feds did this, the US military did it. Newsom railed against it then, and has kept doing it.

He did nothing wrong.
