HAPPENING NOW: Judge Paula Xinis sounds inclined to order feds to arrange return of Kilmar Abrego-Garcia, who was erroneously deported to El Salvador & put in anti-terrorism prison. Not convinced he's MS-13. "That's just chatter in my view. I havenât been given any evidence."

(23,685 posts)Just effing do it.
And this is just one of the ones we know about. They were literally rounding up brown people and looking for tattoes, any tattoes they found and the person was labeled a gang member and shipped to an awful place.
When/if the truth ever comes out, you're going to findd that they deported mostly regular people and very few gange members.

(68,224 posts)This new material is deserving of its own thread.
My policy, which seems to be uniquely mine, is to post all the litigation-related threads in Civil Liberties. That way, they don't get lost. GD fills up several times per day, and threads here can be back on page three in a few hours.
Skeets aren't considered news sources, and they are dynamic, both of characteristics make skeet-based articles ineligible for LBN. As you know, by the time a news source catches up with the hearing info, the story will be stale. Ergo, Civil Liberties. Earl G seemed to think that was appropriate.
Mon Mar 17, 2025: DU should consider revising or splitting up LBN now that Bluesky is taking off.
Keep on skeetin'.

I'd actually made a positive comment of agreement within the thread..
And then immediately forgot about it.
Ooops!
Happy Friday Y'all!
