I lose patience with those who complain that “nobody in the media” and “nobody in politics” informed us of Project 2025 and a pile of other issues. This was seriously hard to miss unless the complainer was living in a cave.

MAGA Inc. can raise unlimited money but is barred from coordinating directly with Mr. Trump's campaign arm. The fine print for the Friday's invitation says the president is attending as a guest speaker and not soliciting donations.

Another $1 million-a-head MAGA Inc. dinner is scheduled for April 24 in Washington, according to the invitation. Donors can "co-host" that dinner for $2.5 million or become a "host" for $5 million...."

mini kingdoms. Does 2025 address how these mini kingdoms, each under the rule of a different oligarch, will operate? Who will do the labor in each mini kingdom to maintain services? Where will the garbage be dumped? Will each kingdom provide its own electric power? Will grocery and other delivery trucks be allowed travel in the kingdom? Will people have jobs in their own kingdom or will they have to seek employment elsewhere? Will laborers be allowed to live in the mini kingdom?

Panaceas and utopias rarely turn out as planned. Be careful what you wish for...

Trump's tariff taxes are to enforce his pay to play. He's forcing companies to crawl to him and grovel. Then he will remove the tariff from them, and the people not following what is going on will think that he improved the economy.

I, too, read the entire content of Project 2025.

As a member of the LGBTQIA community, we are to be eliminated. We will not be silenced!!

I tell queer folks to look at what the Trumpists have done already -- which seemed impossible just months ago -- then look at what else seems that same sort of inconceivable -- and to shift those policies and goals into the "high likelihood" category.

"Oh, but they won't send people who make pornography to jail!" (page 5 and following)....They certainly will send some "pornographers" to jail, which will effectively silence entire populations of Americans.

And by "pornographers," I mean (using the P2025 definitions) not just folks who shoot videos for personal use, or consensual adult content -- but also people like my friend, an award-winning author of entirely non-sexual young adult fiction, with queer characters discovering themselves in a world that still has, against all odds, magic in it.

That may be the only upside to all of this
