I'm old enough to remember the astonishment when the Dow hit 1,200. No, that's not missing any zeroes.

I never imagined I'd live long enough to see it happen again.

At that time I worked in the financial district of San Francisco, across the street from Schwab (I think it was) and they always had the DOW listed in lights on the corner there.
