I didn’t either. I voted FOR every (D) on the ballot. It has worked for me for more than 50 years. Farmers do an awesome job for our country and the world. Trump doesn’t give a fuck about any human being. He will use you and discard you. And your silos are full of last years crops, thanks to him.

But farmers won't keep raising crops and livestock if they're losing money on every transaction. I remember times in the 90's when hog prices dropped so low we lost money on every pig we sold. My dad's solution was to stop breeding the pigs for a few months until prices started to climb again.

Now crops are different because of crop insurance subsidized by the federal government. But crop insurance is on the chopping block thanks to DOGE as well.

This would be, like, it's no longer profitable for the US to import soybeans, so "the domestics will increase production"?

So brilliant.

I can't imagine why no one but you has figured this out.
