Actually, I am glad that TRAITOR** krasnov skipped the dignifed transfer

of those four soldiers. He has nothing but contempt for our military members, zero empathy for grief and loss, and would make it all about himself with some truly awful behaviour and remarks. This way, he is not polluting this sad moment.

1. I agree, knowing how he feels about the military it would have been disgusting.

2. I'll agree. Plus, he showed the world by hosting a Saudi golf tournament today just what his true colors are.

7. The family asked that the media not be there

Newsweek has not confirmed the exact timing of the dignified transfer, but an administration official said families of the deceased requested that no media be present. "The White House is requesting their respect for privacy today and has been working on correspondence to the families," the official added.

Media kept at a respectful distance has happened many times but Trumpy has to be the center of attention. Pfffttt

So he sent Pete the Dragon.

9. If the families asked for no media, that should be respected but the president should be there w/out the media

But as posters here have said, he can’t do anything w/out a media fanfare. There are many ways the president could be there discretely and respectfully. He gets no pass on this in my book

The fact that the family's asked for no media/ cameras, is exactly why Trump didn't do his duty. It's all probably best it worked out the way it did. Had Stupid been present, he would have made the solemn occasion all about him. He would have smiled and frankly, family members might have feigned praise and asked to shake his hand and instead knocked him for a loop. There. Put that on camera. Asshole. The POTUS is a thug.

I’m just disgusted that the president can’t be presidential, even at an event as important as this. Wish he’d just disappear
