Regarding elderly people; It's as if people don't think they will ever age.

Though that might require acknowledging all of them.

ETA; And/or maybe not raising them to think "empathy is a weakness"

there were a few MAGAots I talked to who were not fearful of their elderly parents catching it......They said that they wouldn't have to care for them for years, and see their inheritance wasted on medical expenses to keep them living for a few more years......

I just shook my head, not able to comprehend them even thinking, much less saying such things.....

It truly boggles my mind to learn that there people who actually think like that. What truly despicable people. They sound like 47 himself. As you say, bad enough to think something like that, but to say it out loud to someone else? Unbelievable and disgusting.

These people that would be happy to see their parents die, so they can inherit money that they didn't earn, love to rant about "entitlement" programs.

and tell everyone that they were, in fact, "A SELF MADE MAN" like Trump and so many others.............
