Trump did not want to be elected to be the President.

He wanted to be elected so he could have a license to grift and steal to his heart's content and to escape all legal liability and accountability. He wanted free rein to make deals with all the shady characters in the world and to accumulate as much wealth as he could put his greedy hands upon.

In his mind, he is just playing a role, an act, as the President of the United States. He is not a serious person. He is probably mentally ill. He wants to get all the glory of the office while he plays golf and plays President.

He is a constant threat to our country and to the world. He has alienated all of our allies, including our nearest neighbors. The damage he has caused will not be easily repaired. The American people will suffer greatly from this great political fiasco.

A fiasco the American people are solely responsible for.

Trump isn’t some foreign invader who took control through conquest; he isn’t a domestic insurgent who came to power via a violent coup.

Trump was elected lawfully and constitutionally – the consequence of the fear, ignorance and stupidity, the racism, bigotry, and misogyny of the voters.

In 2024 we witnessed a catastrophic failure of democracy, with the voters democracy’s greatest flaw.

The people are solely responsible for the bad government they get.

from the Wired pub, if I am not mistaken with descriptions of abnormal events surrounding election day that were clues in how manipulations took place...
And I agree with yes, it was stolen. It would take a mastermind follow-up and study to validate the clues and unravel the events.
Proving something like that would be difficult, and it will not happen at this time unless we have protections. The tabulations were changed at the state level, and unfolding those counts... omg...

Cosplaying president of the U.S. We excuse it for our kids and younger adults. And it's usually superheroes and comic book characters. Never did I ever think anyone... especially somebody as old as he is... would be cosplaying at being a president. Not that he cares, because it's not in his emotional makeup, but he ought to be totally humiliated at the way people are both laughing out loud at him for his idiocy and harebrained ideas that are wrecking the country... but also at the person, himself... so full of himself that really is a case of the Emperors New Clothes.

Cosplaying is not about taking advantage of people, stealing wealth, and hurting others.

No cosplayer is trying to get anyone to believe they are something or someone that they are not.

Cosplayers put a lot of their own money, effort, time and resources into what they do. Trump does none of this.

He is a con man. He is a scam artist. He is a grifter. He is not pretending to be the President. He is the President. He pretended that he would do the job of the President in order to get elected.

No one has any expectation that the person wearing a superhero costume is going to stop a plane crash or foil a bank robbery. People do, or at least should, have an expectation that the President is going to govern and act in the best interest of the people.

Many experts believe Trump is a malignant narcissist, which is a combination of two different personality disorders: narcissistic personality disorder (npd) and antisocial personality disorder (apd or aspd). Both of these disorders are problematic, and the combination of both is a dangerous one, because it tends to produce people that, well, act like Trump!

Where things get muddy is that some experts dedcribe personality disorders as a category of "mental illness," while other call them "mental health conditions" or "mental disorders." The latter sound like distinctions without a real difference to me, but I'm not a trained psychologist or therapist so take that as you will!

One thing everyone seems to agree on is that a personality disorder is a deviation from optimal human functioning, and another is that personality disorders are extremely hard, if not impossible to treat, because they involve behaviors and patterns of thought that are deeply embedded (you might say baked in) aspects of someone's personality. Also, people with npd or aspd don't usually seek help, because their behavior is troublesome primarily to those around them. These people don't think there's is anything wrong with them; any time their behavior causes a problem, they blame it on someone (or something) else.

Below are a couple of links and avideo that I hope may be informative. You can find loads more by googling terms like "personality disorders" or "narcissism." Combine those terms with "Trump" and you get hits relating these terms to him. I found the last two items below by googling "Trump malignant narcissist."

Reality TV. (which is generally anything BUT real!) I remember exactly where it came from and why. I didn't support it when they were trying to screw the actors and crews of shows, and I still don't support it. The whole thing was borne of a cheat... cheat people out of money and rewards they were truly due, so that more profits moved into the studios and bigwigs' pockets. I have such a real bad taste in my mouth for the whole damn genre... especially as it's only gotten more dumb and more and more exploitive. In fact, my feeling is so bad, there's only one show I've ever watched... and yes, I AM addicted to it. But then, it's a real world example of real world people showing off their talents, hard work, and expertise. Don't laugh, but I'm talking about BattleBots. There's a lot of STEM research and engineering that goes into those robots. And while as a viewer I love KO's, I still feel bad about how much damage they take. I can see it as a black hole where all the money goes, which is why there's probably so much family involved in most of these.

I believe we are living through a dystopian reality show that only the most extreme sadist could brew. And I worry how much farther he'll get before we finally catch a clue from other countries and their relationship with their people. Most countries go out on general strikes and more... they'll shut down whole economies and cities with their protests. This is what I think we need to see in this country before ANY of our media starts talking about it. And more's the shame. As we protest to keep freedom of the press, the main press seems to be doing all it can to build up restrictions. Whats the phrase? Capitulate before you're asked? Something like that. That's how I see our press, now that Bush got the Heritage Foundation's wish of all but monopolizing the media with the billionaire class.

I hate that we've given up on citizenship for consumerism. And that the media doesn't ask follow up questions like the Brits do.

I hope California decides to go it alone if the rest of the country opts for dictatorship.

It's important to remember that before entering the primaries back in 2015, the felon had discussed the idea of running with Bill Clinton while the two played golf. The felon was looking simply to get attention to promote his brand. The former president encouraged him, thinking he could damage the expected republican nominee, Jeb "refrigerator head" Bush. When the felon won the nomination, he still did not want to be president, but he did not want to lose to a woman.

After losing in 2020, he had planned to retire to cheat at golf while still finding ways to get his followers to donate to him. It wasn't until Jack Smith was appointed that the felon recognized his only hope for avoiding conviction was to win a second term. Because the felon hates all that is Good, he also wanted to get revenge, destroy America, and get rich doing it.
