****BREAKING NEWS**** China Halts Critical Exports as Trade War Intensifies

China has suspended exports of a wide range of critical minerals and magnets, threatening to choke off supplies of components central to automakers, aerospace manufacturers, semiconductor companies and military contractors around the world.

Shipments of the magnets, essential for assembling everything from cars and drones to robots and missiles, have been halted at many Chinese ports while the Chinese government drafts a new regulatory system. Once in place, the new system could permanently prevent supplies from reaching certain companies, including American military contractors.

The official crackdown is part of China’s retaliation for President Trump’s sharp increase in tariffs that started on April 2.

He hates us all. We turned him out in 2020 & he will NEVER forgive that. He told us he would get retribution, but nothing is enough to fill his need. He is only happy when he is hurting others, but his glee is short lived and he has to keep hurting people to get his high. He's a misery junky and that's why the fascist business leaders bought the office for him; he will do anything to anybody without remorse or even a second's hesitation. If he changes his mind, it's because he thought up a new way to hurt people.

He is criminally insane and a danger to the entire world.

Sadly, it's likely most of his cabinet are grifting too, so going the 25th route seems unlikely to me. They don't care about nation or people, so long as they get lots of money to cushion themselves from the misery. They all gave up on the US or none of them would have taken positions of authority and ass kissing they knew they were not capable of doing. They, like the insane criminal, are just there to follow orders and steal what they can personally.

Impeachment? Well, maybe GOP on the Hill might try it, but it's likely there would be blood shed because MAGA Nazis just want to destroy everything.

We are paying a steep price for our society's failure to really deal with mental health and real education.

He should be judged as criminally insane. Mere Malignant Narcissism isn't enough to describe his actions. It is criminally insane to make the entire world hate your country just so you can get your rocks off on the pain it's causing everybody. It's also criminally insane to sell out the top secrets of your own country to the highest bidder, just to put more money into your pocket, and more retribution towards the people who didn't want you as their president... first, or ever again. If it's not criminally insane, it ought to be!

But... magas won't know any of it... at least, the specifics which you mention in your reply... if trump changes the reporting standards to what I've been reading over the past few days. Leave out the government stats, and you only get a portion of the picture... not nearly enough when the hard damage is being done to government employees by trumps government. Fox isn't going to tell the magats that trump changed the reporting requirements, and I don't believe they'd understand or even care. As long as it doesn't hit them directly, they're good to keep going for trump. Thing is, the longer it does keep going, the more of them feel the pain - both the rich and poor magas.

more countries start following China's example. trump... nor anyone inside or outside his admin... can hope to have everything America needs manufactured in America in any timeframe. Some things are just not possible. And the more he screws around with Ukraine, I think more the NATO countries are going to be inclined to break away from trump and America. If you can't count on a friend being a friend in a war, then they're an enemy by default. Each of these countries no doubt exports something the US needs and can't make on it's own due to resources or materials... not to count labor costs. And trump will never increase the minimum wage. He spent a hell of a long time last campaign talking about cap on "maximum wage" and no minimum wage. I remember because it incensed me so much that America's workers were being dissed like that, and no one was making a hoopla about it. But then, every other word out of his mouth is a scandal, so I guess what can you say? Once we start having fewer and fewer countries unwilling to trade with us, cutting off whole categories of goods and/or services, and creating alternate trading sources and routes for themselves, it will take us forever to re-establish those trading partners. And why would they be in any kind of a hurry? American voters have shown them they'll take the worst four years any president ever served, and still elect him AGAIN, over a sedate, secure, statesman like Biden. The best thing that could happen in this country is another 40 years in the desert for the republicans. I think only then could other countries step out and tentatively trust in America again. That's probably putting more of a human face on trading with countries than necessary, but that's how I look at it.

many countries have now been found to have the rare earth minerals, and other necessary resources. If this was trump's thinking, I believe it will put the whole world on a pre-war footing with America. NO country will peacefully allow another country to invade and strip them of their resources. Only trump right now is stripping this country of the resources it needs - government workers and immigrants. Wait until other countries decide to sanction us.
