Republican Support Collapses Under Donald Trump

Support for the Republican Party has declined under President Donald Trump, a new poll of voter's congressional voting intentions has found.

....(snip)....

What To Know

An April 16 poll of 1,000 registered voters conducted by RMG Research, a public opinion research firm founded by conservative pollster Scott Rasmussen, for Napolitan News Service found that if an election for Congress were held today, 48 percent would vote for the Democrat on their ballot, while 44 percent would vote for the Republican.

When including those who would lean Democratic or Republican, the Democratic lead increased to 50 percent, while Republican support increased to 45 percent.

This marks a seven-point swing since February, according to the pollsters. Before Trump was inaugurated on January 20, Republicans had a seven-point lead of 51 percent to the Democrats' 44 percent.

The margin of error for the poll was plus or minus 3.1 percentage points. ...........(more)

With the madness going on these days, I would have thought that support for republicans would be far worse. I suppose it will take awhile before many voters realize how bad things are. Some aren't paying attention and many are probably in denial, at least until it really affects them personally. That should be happening soon.

People seem to be unable to grasp that until the source of these lies and propaganda is addressed it will only get worse. there used to be a bedrock of about 33% support for anything they do. Now they're worse than ever and it's at 44% and it's all due to the constant right wing propaganda.

They live in a bubble.
Until there is an effective response to it, it will not change.

Here’s the text of a message I received this morning.

“Do you want to receive CASH from President Trump and DOGE’s WASTE CUTTING?”

The link to click on is red-win.co, so I assume it’s a site to enter your name and email for a chance to win cash, which serves two purposes—promote the lie that Musk is addressing fraud and saving money and collect more email addresses for future grifting.

The MAGA cult is gullible enough to fall for these tactics.

You came up with a plan to hand America over to the super rich, back before Reagan. Then along came con man Trump and you decided there was your figurehead, the man to make your plans of oligarchy come true. You thought, like little Bush, yo could keep him under control, but here felon Don, is, wrecking America. And you F'n STILL refuse to remove him from office, before he wreaks any more havoc.

Now it's too late - Because of Trump, America will never be a top power again, will never lead in trade, and It's. All. Your. Fault
