This man may not be a saint. Yet the fifth amendment says no person shall be denied life liberty or property without due process.

Bring him back let him speak it will be a slap in the face of Trump administration.

we've all done things we regret, things we wish we could take back...put a microscope on any of our lives and there are things that people could inflate to make us look like monsters.

This guy isn't a saint, but he doesn't seem to be a monster either.

Meanwhile, in the White House, there is a monster, surrounded by other monsters, who spend their days trying to find ways to destroy the lives of ordinary people. Why? Malice and greed.

No one should be debating guilt or innocence. That puts us on their turf.

We have a criminal justice system.

They have evidence? Use it. Arrest and try.

To debate his innocence is implicit acceptance that it is somehow ok to ship people to a foreign jail outside the justice system if the are "guilty" (which they cannot be without trial -- you know, the whole pesky presumed innocent thing that is the bedrock principle?)

This is all appalling. By focusing so heavily on this or that individual, we are losing the forest for the trees. They ALL must come back.

One of our grievances in the revolution was that they shipped people to England to be tried there. These people are getting no trial whatsoever.

It is mind boggling that any American would applaud this, I don't care how brainwashed by the deranged reactionaries a person may be. It's pretty f-ing basic stuff.

I still stand by the fact that there is a monster in the White House who has had due process...and still no consequences for it.

We know virtually nothing about any of the people who were sent to El Salvador, but the one thing we do know, is that they did not receive the process that is their right as humans in the United States.

But, I did get sidetracked.

Just venting general frustration at how easy it is to get pulled into their frame. I've even caught myself doing it.

I am particularly frustrated that there are reports of "rumblings" within the Democratic "stratergist" class that it is a mistake to stand up for the rights of the men 47's regime shipped to a foreign concentration camp (see Key Fact 2 here: https://encyclopedia.ushmm.org/content/en/article/concentration-camps-1933-39)

And yes, the entire 47 regime is monstrous.

We need to be working now to build the political will for impeachment and removal of 47 and his co-conspirator Vance. Every member of the House and Senate running in 2026, and every candidate, needs to be asked to declare their position on impeaching and removing those two criminals. They are either for it, and commit to doing everything in their power to bring the American people on board, or they are complicit in the 47 regime's crimes. There is no middle ground or rationalization into which they can be allowed to escape. Probability of success or failure is irrelevant.

It's the action, not the fruit of the action, that's important. You have to do the right thing. It may not be in your power, may not be in your time, that there'll be any fruit. But that doesn't mean you stop doing the right thing. You may never know what results come from your action. But if you do nothing, there will be no result.

Those that have been deported to tsf's buddy bro country. Those two must have laughed and planned their asses off about more detention jails and millions of $$$ exchanging for this madman/nazi scheme. They were constructing a death camp for those deemed undesirable by this current ICE fiasco.
Kilmar is the poster person for a real big f/u of this administration. Bring it on, Maxine! And bring them all back for their due process. Kilmar was lucky to have a family speak up for him. What about those who do not have family to speak up for them?

Press on. This is just so wrong, but now we have lots of brave souls, and thank goodness, some incredible politicians in a position to bring attention to this barbaric social injustice.

Those El Salvadoran prisons would make great retirement housing someday for all the Republicans crooks, thieves and Nazis currently running our country.
