Had you let the court cases go through and had not told Krasnov he had immunity from punishment as president, he would have been a LOT more hesitant to destroy the country, deny rights, deport innocents, hurt women ad minorities, and turned the country into the laughing stock and criminal empire it has become.
History will crucify you for your evil, you disgusting SCROTUS bastards.

Wish congressional Democrats, the Biden administration, even the Harris campaign, had filed the case instead.

(195 posts)They could have joined the Democrats and voted to convict him at the 2nd impeachment trial after January 6th.
My guess they all figured Trump was finished and would never get elected again.
As the saying goes, never underestimate the stupidity of the American people.
Just think about how ignorant/stupid the average American is, and then remember half the country is more ignorant/stupid than that.

(26,826 posts)When a dictator takes over the justice part of a country becomes under the absolute power of the dictator to be used against his perceived enemies and those who dissent ( like those of us who protest on the streets and write on forums criticizing and exposing his illegality)
We have three branches and now 2 of themselves are worthless. And the Supreme Court gave him the power when they gave him absolute immunity for anything he does as president.

(722 posts)One of the minor miracles of being appointed to the SC and being confirmed as a SC justice is the ability to grow and mature as a human.
Many justices emerged as champions of the people and even of minority causes despite being originally appointed and confirmed by conservatives to enforce conservative privilege.
Sadly, since the days of St. ronnie raygun, conservatives have put spineless men and women on the SC whose spines were never going to grow. The heinous, pointless show that were called confirmation hearings of several of the last few republican appointees has shown that this is a basic policy of the republican administrations and the republican congress.
Roberts has never grown beyond what the Bush lite era administration wanted of him. That's why he was nominated in the first place. He and the rest of the conservative court, created by illegal and nefarious means, are what the republicans want to create their fascist dictatorship in America.
The people will suffer but there will be fewer and fewer who will care and almost no one who will be able to fight back outside of a revolution.
