An authoritarian dictatorship is the ONLY way their choices become mandates, i.e., take away the choice from The People.

Democracy is their business. I’m talking about Rethugs holding office. Once Democracy is gone, so is their sweet, sweet, thing.

I still believe that self interest will determine the end game here. It will cease to be “us or them” . It will be “TSF or us”. If TSF’s dictatorship takes hold, they are ALL EXPENDABLE. That includes the SCOTUS.

Their bottomless self interest will save us from total collapse of the system. Unfortunately, the recovery will be difficult once the spell breaks.

I think you may be right, about some of them anyway. I think we see (most in) the Supreme Court deciding this. Why not others?

We keep holding out hope that a few might be willing to work to save the democracy but it may be only a fool's errand? We may have to face the reality that none are going to change and we have no choice but to fight them on every front. Defeat them. That is the only solution.
