Trump administration is blackmailing foreign governments to sign contracts with Starlink.

Within the first month of this administration, Trump declared a moratorium: The US would no longer prosecute US citizens for bribing foreigners.

Now, the US State Department is blackmailing foreign countries, saying that if they want to do business with the US, they must prove their friendliness to US companies by signing a deal with Starlink.

It's only "blackmail" when the perpetrator is using threats of exposing something his victim doesn't want known, in order to get what he wants. Here, the countries Trump is threatening aren't trying to hide anything. He's just threatening them, like any mob boss does.
