this morning. I honestly believe that even FAUX would have had to admit that his whole "tariff deal" announcement was huge nothing burger. As it was, the chyrons said things like "details still need to be worked out". It was concept of a deal maybe, to be generous. And I think if it wasn't for the Pope he would be the subject of scorn and ridicule. He probably still will be when the hoop-la wears off.

But "deals" is all he knows how to talk about, however ridiculously incompetent he is at actually doing them.

It illustrates how far we still have to go to transcend superstition and ritual.
Hopefully it will pass and we can focus our ire once again once again on Trump.
