The segment was about Biden's interview today, and Tapper was going over it with a former Trump administration official. They were picking apart the interview for signs of decline. Halfway through the segment Tapper actually plugged his book.

The viewer is supposed to believe that this is honest reporting.

Meanwhile the current president of the United States barely seems to know where he is or who he's talking to.

I heard about his book earlier. I turned off the tv because I couldn't stand it anymore. I hope they all pay one day for what they have done.

With the same argument, as there have been multiple news articles.

I just thought it was gross seeing Tapper do a segment which was basically one big plug for his book.

It would be more newsworthy to discuss the current president's obvious mental problems, but that's not what Tapper's book is about, so he's ignoring it.

Serves me right for turning on CNN while I was making dinner...
