It probably goes without saying that we here have learned to control our urges, we don't just spout out the first thing that comes to mind. We give things a second thought. We check, we make sure what we're saying is correct or defensible. And we expect our government to be the same way - with tact and diplomacy. But here we are with elected representatives no wiser than third graders. Third graders who have never learned to act any smarter, leaders who do not run out of stupid things to do. So here we are, hoping that at some point people will think enough is enough. Hoping they stop fanning the fires and join the fire line instead. It's a shame that it has to first become personally harmful for them to do it.

I have watched COLLEGE kids who can't even place the Civil War in the right century. 😳 I wouldn't know the exact day of that picture myself and I am in my late 50s.
