We have civil rights because Black people broke barriers for us.

The white establishment thought Asian people would replace the newly freed Black people, believing Asians would be cheap labor but that’s not what happened.

Asian people resisted and were hung.

In my lifetime (absent Trump's impact) we have improved a great deal.

Race Relations in America - that's a minefield of emotions, feelings, etc., whatever you want to consider. It's a conversation that we should have had but never really had as a Country. I guess it's sort of like talking about sex to your teenage daughters.
