In addition to the narcissistic and psychopath diagnosis.
Add in his drug abuse and dementia.

No wonder we are in such big trouble.

Fri May 9, 2025, 05:42 AM
May 2025

Almost every square inch of wall space is covered in gold framed pictures and gold objects.
This looks very bipolar.
And how he hops from project to project, most of them ridiculous, dangerous, expensive.
And he never finishes any of them
This is typical bipolar as well.

And of course the way he destroys all relationships and creates chaos is very borderline PD.

Visible signs of his wealth and status feed the bottomless pit of his ego. It has been thus for a very long time.

Which is not to contradict the evidence that dementia is contributing to his mental pathologies.

11. Now he has a literal trophy wife, whose life story is being made into a $40 million movie.

She'd better watch out or she'll be gold plated, too, like Shirley Eaton in Goldfinger.

For comparison, the movie, Mother Teresa: No Greater Love, earned over $1.2 million at the box office.

This is interesting to me, because I don't know anything about psychotherapy.

I can see how his need to have gold everywhere is a sign of narcissism. I didn't realize that it also points toward being bipolar.

Would you tell us more about this? Thanks for sharing your expert insights here!

And all the gold. (yes the gold is also the narcissism.)

I think it looks manic and obsessive. Way over the top.

Bipolar illness makes people feel grandiose, hyper, high energy, excessive in everything they do,
going very fast, racing thoughts.

You see this sometimes in the decor of bipolar. Inside and outside the house.
For example, Christmas outdoor displays where every inch of lawn in covered with
holiday displays.

Bipolars often suck all the air out of the room, overwhelm everyone and take up all the space
and energy.

When I looked at the Oval Office it looks bipolar to me.
And we also see classic bipolar with all of Trump's actions, orders, schemes and plots.
Starting and never finishing many of them.
Classic bipolar.

You're observing HOW Trump communicates and relates to the world, not just the content, but the way he speaks, writes, decorates - basically, the way he lives in the world.

This explains how an older, not healthy person can get on stage and entertain crowds for hours. I have wondered if they drugged him up, but now I see the drugs are coming from his brain.

It also explains why he's up all night sending out tweet after tweet, long run-on hysterical rants.

Yes being awake all night, causing trouble, is classic bipolar too.

I do think it is possible he is doing some sort of amphetamines as well.
This can mimic bipolar.

Yes when you evaluate a person you look at the process as well as the content of
the communication.

He sells the newest thing and moves on. No management at all. He leaves that for his staff. Not that they were capable in his organization but they had a lot going on. This is why he only had control of about 5% of properties with his name on it before he got the TV show.

Perhaps she was bipolar too, it is an inherited disorder.

Perhaps it was overconfidence, but Harris received 3% less of the women's vote than Biden received in 2020 and that was a big deal. She also got 2% less of the Black vote. Why?
Perhaps there are even Democrats who cannot bring themselves to vote for a woman, a woman of color.
I expect little from the magas and Trumpists, but I expect much, much better from Democrats and independents who usually vote Democratic.

Shit - I DREAM and LONG FOR the day when there’ll be a woman President.

We’ve had brilliant, and highly capable women in other big jobs. They’ve been generals and many other kinds of warriors of all ranks and specialties, for Pete’s sake.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Council_of_Women_World_Leaders

They lead major corporations. There are 46 women CEOs in the Fortune 1000 (501-1000) as of July 2024. Women are 9.2% of Fortune 1000 CEOs.

https://www.linkedin.com/company/womencorporatedirectors

Mary Barra leads General Motors.
Katherine Graham headed the Washington Post for years.
Mattel has had Jill Barad as its chief.

This is a list of women CEOs of the Fortune 500, based on the magazine's 2024 list (updated yearly).[1][2] As of Sept. 2024, women were CEOs at 10.4% of Fortune 500 companies. Those aren’t little companies, either. (Citigroup, Oracle, UPS, Best Buy, General Dynamics, Northrop Grumman, PG&E, and many more.)
List of women CEOs of Fortune 500 companies
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_women_CEOs_of_Fortune_500_companies

Granted, 10.4% is a small percentage but it IS up from the 7% of women CEOs in 2021.

From: https://19thnews.org/2024/11/harris-support-women-over-65/
"Harris lost support from women overall — but not women over 65"

This when probably most of us thought it would be the women vote that would carry Harris to victory.

Then there is this: https://19thnews.org/2020/11/white-women-had-doubts-they-voted-for-trump-anyway/?itm_source=parsely-api
"White women had doubts. They voted for Trump anyway."
"White women who said they were having second thoughts about the president, citing their concerns about health care during the COVID-19 pandemic, his divisive racial rhetoric and even his general demeanor, ultimately chose to stand by him."

The rest of the free world doesn't seem to have any problem with women leaders but it appears to be different here and if we want to win in '28 we need to make a safe choice regarding our candidates. Reality sucks, but it is what it is.

Looks like a double whammy with women.
"They said they didn’t like the president’s rhetoric, his handling of the pandemic. But in the end, they came home."

But their bad votes condemned the rest of us to at least another four years of schmuck-in-the-White House. And it’ll hurt them, too, if it hasn’t already.

I'm not surprised that fewer Democratic women voted for Harris than for Biden. As a white woman, I know plenty of women who believe that man are smarter and more capable than women. It's deeply ingrained in some women by their families. It's how they're raised.

For instance, I know several white women who call themselves progressive who believe that women should use sexual attraction to find and retain spouses, who will take care of them. They're raising their daughters that way, too.

Most of them probably still voted for Harris, but it's not surprising that some didn't bother to vote. And then there's the racism. It had an impact.
