I remember the city of DC pushed back saying the tanks would destroy their roads. So there is the cost to fix the roads as well.

And I am fairly certain that the media will be threatened not to show the protests for what they are. And it's probably a good day for Krasnov to declare martial law to crack down on the protests.

People driving by protests can clearly tell which side we represent--the pick-up truck boys don't give the finger to tRump supporters, and we get flipped by them alot, though many more positive honks and waves.

And to try martial law on peaceful protestors will backfire bigly on the Tangerine Turdball. Get out to a protest, you'll feel better.

By the time the event rolls around, that $45 million will turn into $75 million so he can be carried through the streets on a gilded throne.

And then there’s the many millions of dollars to repair streets not built to handle heavy military tanks. This man to just too disgusting for words.

The cost estimates are ridiculously low. He wanted a military parade on his first inauguration, and was turned down due to the extreme costs to repair the streets after Multiple tracked vehicles of extreme weight traveled over it........At the time I seem to remember that all of the streets needing repair would take 6+ months............and cost a fortune.... even if the weight didn't harm any manholes, or underground utilities.....

Of course, it would be great if he died at any time at all, especially 78 years ago.

Costs will go up biggly if they have tanks. Street and underlying water/sewer systems are costly to repair.
There are streets/bridges that the Presidential 'Beast' can't travel due to weight vs road & bridge integrity.

The estimate used during his 1st term was higher. The aircraft and helicopters cost eye watering amounts to fly per hour. Moving them to DC area, servicing, and returning them to active duty while flying empty is enormously wasteful. To say nothing of taking active duty troops out of service to honor a felonious draft dodger who sneers publicly at those same troops for serving our nation.
The structural and surface damage from multiple Abrams tanks driven on city streets not engineered for such loads is not included in the estimates. Neither is the cost of lost public access to those same streets while they are being repaired post parade.

As others have noted Dwight Eisenhower said there was no purpose or need for America to put on such a parade imitating lawless tyrants elsewhere. We are the most powerful country in the world. Such a parade mocks those who serve our nation as citizen soldiers and offends America's heritage as a democracy rather than a military state.
