It’s red wool, with white piping on the seams, and an interlocking white KC on the front. I don’t think anybody is going to mistake it for one of Trump’s overpriced Chinese trucker caps.

I think I'll wear it when we visit the Ft. Snelling cemetery. My wife's father is buried there and we go a couple of times a year. I'm sure there will be other appropriate occasions, too. Maybe I'll be able to tell who gets it 100%.

But wait, there's more: In the first place being "woke" is taken by some to be a horrible thing. And if you're a woke veteran, that's double bad. And finally, if you're "woke as fuck," there's no hope for you at all, apparently.

Oddly enough, though, I posted that picture on a nostalgia page for one base I served at. The base existed for only 12 years, and was very, very small. So the guys who were stationed there like to chat with each other. On that page, those old veterans seem to think the hat is cool. So, not all veterans are Trumpers. That's good to know.

Too bad that "woke MC veteran doesn't have that - plus I can' wear hats without getting headaches. More power to you !!!

As someone else pointed out, we have had to give up our normal red hats, in my case a sun hat that used to spark up several casual outfits. Well there’s always blue.

My husband even has a red baseball-style one given out at his office by a Linux salesman, years ago (it says: Red Hat on the logo) . He loves Linux. But since trump turned up, it sits there.

I like your idea, a lot. Since he’s also an AF veteran, and Woke AF from living with me all these years, I’m going to show him yours.

I sometimes get the "thank you for your service line" in the States when I wear it. I think I'll start using that "thank you for paying your taxes" line as a comeback.

Another option is a red hat with the word, ADULT, embroidered on it.
