It might not have just been the Republicans arguing that Harris did not earn the nomination in the primary. This might have made some people less eager to vote. It is also possible some believed the lies about Biden and thought Harris one of the people who covered up. Reading the comments of the former press secretary, the intense attacks on Biden may have worked in either of those ways.
